8vision Taxi Booking Chat adds a responsive booking form to any WordPress page with a shortcode. Visitors enter their pickup, destination, name, passenger count, and optional ferry or flight details. The plugin then prepares a concise WhatsApp message with map links for both locations.
The plugin is designed for taxi companies, private transfer services, chauffeurs, minivan operators, and airport or port transfer providers. It does not require WooCommerce or a separate booking platform.

- Upload the plugin ZIP from Plugins > Add Plugin > Upload Plugin, or install it from the WordPress plugin directory.
- Activate 8vision Taxi Booking Chat.
- Open Taxi Booking in the main WordPress admin menu.
- Add the destination WhatsApp number in the General tab, including the country code and digits only.
- Add
[taxi_booking_chat]to a page, post, or shortcode block. - Optionally configure Google Places in the Locations tab.

Is Google Places required?
No. Pickup and dropoff remain normal text fields when Google Places is disabled or no API key is supplied.
Which Google APIs are required for autocomplete?
Enable Maps JavaScript API and Places API in Google Cloud. Restrict the API key to the domains where the widget is used.
Can I restrict location suggestions to one country?
Yes. Enter an ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 country code, such as GR, in Taxi Booking > Locations. Leave it empty for worldwide suggestions.
Does the plugin store booking details?
No. The form creates a WhatsApp URL in the visitor's browser. The plugin does not save submitted booking details in the WordPress database.
Does the plugin track visitors?
No. The plugin does not include analytics, tracking pixels, Google Tag Manager, or custom conversion events.
Can I use a different style on one page?
Yes. Shortcode attributes can override the saved defaults, for example [taxi_booking_chat theme="white" detail_color="#2271B1"].
