安装:

  1. Go to Plugins > Add New in your WordPress admin and search for "Advanced Local Pickup".
  2. Click Install Now, then Activate.
  3. Go to WooCommerce > Local Pickup to configure your pickup location and notification settings.
  4. Set your store name, address, opening hours, and pickup instructions.
  5. When an order is ready for collection, open it from WooCommerce > Orders and change the status to Ready for Pickup — the customer will be notified automatically.
Alternatively, upload the advanced-local-pickup-for-woocommerce folder to /wp-content/plugins/ and activate through the Plugins menu.

How is this different from the built-in WooCommerce Local Pickup?

WooCommerce's built-in Local Pickup is a shipping method only — it has no order statuses for pickup, no way to notify customers when their order is ready for collection, and no mechanism to share pickup instructions. Advanced Local Pickup adds a complete fulfillment workflow on top: dedicated Ready for Pickup and Picked Up statuses, automated customer emails, and customizable pickup instructions — all for free.

How do customers know their order is ready to collect?

When you mark an order as "Ready for Pickup", an automated email is sent to the customer containing your pickup location details, opening hours, and any special instructions you've configured. No manual messaging needed.

Can I customize the pickup notification emails?

Yes. Both the Ready for Pickup and Picked Up emails can be customized from the WooCommerce email settings — you can change the subject line, heading, and body content. Your pickup location details and instructions are inserted automatically.

Can I manage multiple pickup locations?

Multiple pickup locations — each with its own address, hours, instructions, and location-specific notifications — are available in ALP PRO.

Can customers choose a pickup date and time?

Pickup appointment scheduling, where customers select a date and time slot at checkout, is available in ALP PRO.

Yes. Pickup instructions can be added to subscription renewal emails. The plugin is compatible with WooCommerce Subscriptions.

Is Advanced Local Pickup compatible with HPOS?

Yes. Advanced Local Pickup is fully compatible with WooCommerce High-Performance Order Storage (custom order tables).

Does it work with WPML for multilingual stores?

Yes. The pickup instructions text is translatable via WPML. All plugin strings are fully translatable using standard WordPress translation tools.

Can I change multiple orders to Ready for Pickup at once?

Yes. Advanced Local Pickup adds bulk order actions to the WooCommerce orders list, so you can select multiple orders and change their status to Ready for Pickup or Picked Up in one action.

Does Advanced Local Pickup support curbside pickup?

Curbside pickup is available in ALP PRO, where it can be enabled per location. Customers choose curbside at checkout and enter their vehicle make, colour and licence plate, then tap "I've Arrived" when they pull up, notifying your staff in real time. The free version covers in-store collection at a single pickup location, with the Ready for Pickup and Picked Up statuses and their automated customer emails.

Does this support BOPIS (buy online, pick up in store)?

Yes — BOPIS is exactly what this plugin adds to WooCommerce. Customers buy online and choose Local Pickup at checkout, you mark the order Ready for Pickup, and they are emailed your address, opening hours and pickup instructions automatically. The free version handles a single store; multi-store BOPIS is available in ALP PRO.

Can staff scan a QR code to confirm a pickup?

QR code handoff is available in ALP PRO. Each pickup order generates a unique QR code in the customer's order confirmation, and staff scan it from any phone to confirm collection — with a full audit trail of timestamp, staff member and location. In the free version you confirm collection by changing the order status to Picked Up, manually or in bulk.

Which order statuses does the plugin add?

Two: Ready for Pickup and Picked Up. Both appear in the WooCommerce order status dropdown, in bulk actions on the orders list, and in order status reports, and each has its own customizable customer email.

Can I show pickup instructions on the order received (Thank You) page?

Yes. Pickup instructions can be displayed on the order received page straight after checkout, and optionally in the Processing order email, so customers know where and when to collect before the order is even ready.
