- Upload the
amanva-silent-mode-alert-for-fluentsmtpfolder to/wp-content/plugins/. - Activate Amanva - Silent Mode Alert for FluentSMTP on the Plugins screen.
- Ensure that FluentSMTP is installed and active.
- Configure at least one notification channel in FluentSMTP.
- Open Settings > Silent Mode Alert to configure the interval and notification pause.
- Use Send test notification to verify the configured channels.

Does this plugin send emails?
No. The plugin uses the configured FluentSMTP notification channels. It does not send reminders by email.
What happens when no notification channel is configured?
While silent mode is enabled, a warning is displayed in the WordPress dashboard. It links directly to the FluentSMTP notification settings.
What is the default check interval?
The default interval is 15 minutes. It can be changed in the plugin settings to a value between 1 and 1,440 minutes.
What does the notification pause do?
It suppresses external reminders until the selected date and time in the WordPress site time zone. Checks continue during the pause. After it expires, the field is cleared automatically and reminders resume at the next eligible check.
Does the test button depend on silent mode being enabled?
No. The test button sends a test notification to the active FluentSMTP channels regardless of the current silent mode setting or a configured notification pause.
Does the plugin replace FluentSMTP?
No. FluentSMTP remains responsible for email delivery and notification channel configuration. This plugin only monitors the silent mode setting and sends reminders through FluentSMTP.
