Sections, groups and columns can end in a shape instead of a straight line — a wave, a slant, a triangle, mountains — drawn in the page, so nothing is loaded and nothing is blurry. Colours, fonts, spacing and text styles are set once and used everywhere — change one, and the whole site follows. Two things a page builder usually cannot do: you can work on a page that is already online without changing what visitors see — saving keeps a draft, and you publish when it suits, now or at a time you set. And you can put two versions side by side, with what changed marked in green, red and orange, and restore one with a click. Give clients their own back end The client area at /themebuilder/admin/ is the whole back end for the people who run the site. No plugin list, no update notices, no settings they should not touch — and no wp-admin. You decide per role and per area what they see and may change: see and change, see only, or hidden. Fine switches go down to publishing, deleting and changing an address, and a single page can have its own rule. In the editor, a role can be allowed to change words and pictures without being able to move a block. That makes ambera useful for agencies and freelancers — not only while the website is being built, but for the years after it is handed over. Free and Pro The free version is fully functional: you can build and run a complete website with it. Pro extends ambera for professional, multilingual and commercial websites: a shop with orders and invoices, memberships and courses, a newsletter, thirty languages, custom fields, AI assistance — including a connection for AI tools such as Claude, Cursor or Codex, which build pages here as real blocks instead of pasted HTML — editable templates for posts and archives, more blocks, backups and an early firewall. 1. Upload the plugin to /wp-content/plugins/ or install it from the plugin directory.
2. Activate it under Plugins.
3. Open ambera in the admin menu. The dashboard walks you through the first steps: pick a demo or start blank, set your colours and fonts, edit the header and footer.
4. Set up the client area if someone else will run the website.

The plugin brings its own theme layer. If you keep another theme active, ambera renders the pages you assign to it and leaves the rest to the theme.

• Support without an account. "Support ticket" and "Feature request" on the Help screen used to open a sign-in page — the free plugin has no account there. They now lead to an open form: you write your question, the answer comes by email, and you answer by replying to it. Version, WordPress, PHP and the site are filled in before you arrive, and screenshots may come along.
• A header template can stay at the top while the page scrolls, so the menu and the search stay within reach on a long page. The switch sits on the template, beside "Lies over the content".
