How It Works

Images are fetched from your server, optimized, and cached globally. Disable the plugin anytime and everything reverts instantly. Supported Formats Optimizes JPEG, PNG, WebP, and GIF images. When you activate this plugin:

Your site domain is registered with our service
Image requests are routed through our Cloudflare CDN
Original images are fetched from your server, optimized, and cached
Aggregated optimization statistics are collected (image counts, bytes saved)
Subscription status is checked periodically to ensure service availability

Go to Plugins > Add New in your WordPress dashboard
Search for "Automatic Image Optimizer & CDN by wpimg.io"
Click Install Now, then Activate
Go to Settings > Image Optimizer
Accept the Terms of Service and click "Enable"

常见问题:

Are my original images modified?

No. Your original images are never touched. Optimization happens on-the-fly when images are requested. Disable the plugin and everything reverts instantly.

Do I need to re-upload my images?

No. The plugin works with your existing images automatically.

Will this slow down my site?

Smaller images load faster. The CDN also helps visitors far from your server load images quicker.

What happens if the service is unavailable?

The plugin includes automatic fallback. If our CDN is unavailable, images will be served directly from your origin server.

Does it work with page builders?

The plugin rewrites image URLs in the final HTML output, so it works with most page builders regardless of how they generate images. If you encounter issues, contact support.

Why don't I see optimized images when logged in?

Image optimization is disabled for logged-in administrators to ensure the admin area and page builders work correctly. Log out or use an incognito window to see optimized images.

What about GIF animations?

Animated GIFs are preserved. They can be converted to WebP (which supports animation) but not AVIF (which doesn't support animation in all browsers).
