Install the plugin, then open InventoryBridge → Setup. The wizard walks you through choosing your Zoho region, creating a Server-based application in the Zoho API Console (with the exact redirect URI to copy), pasting your Client ID and Secret, authorizing, picking your organization and choosing a warehouse. Most stores are connected in about ten minutes.
Yes, and the setup wizard shows you exactly how, step by step, with a direct link to the correct regional API console. Using your own Zoho application means your credentials never pass through anyone else's server.
Yes. The free Zoho plan allows API access, and InventoryBridge works within Zoho's own API limits automatically. If your store's volume ever outgrows the free Zoho plan, that is a Zoho plan limit rather than an InventoryBridge one.
Yes, and you choose which. Orders are sent when you send them: open an order and use the InventoryBridge box, or select several on the orders list and use the bulk action. Nothing is sent to Zoho until you ask for it, so an order placed before you installed the plugin is sent exactly the same way as one placed today.
Available stock, by default — the quantity that already accounts for units committed to confirmed sales orders. You can switch to stock-on-hand or actual-available-stock in Settings if your workflow needs it; the Health screen shows all three side by side so you can see exactly what changed.
The order still reaches Zoho — refusing to create it would hide the sale from your books entirely, which is worse than an order the warehouse has to chase. Instead it is flagged on the order screen and in the sync log with the shortfall.
Zoho stays the configured source of truth, so the next scheduled pull still overwrites the level. But InventoryBridge notices the edit first and logs it, with both figures, so the correction is not lost without a trace — make the correction in Zoho instead and it will hold.
Yes. InventoryBridge derives place of supply from the billing state, chooses CGST/SGST or IGST correctly for intra- and inter-state sales, supports HSN/SAC codes on products, and stores a GSTIN per customer.
Yes. Orders in a foreign currency are sent to Zoho Inventory with the matching currency code, provided that currency is enabled in your Zoho organization.
Nothing is lost. Every sync runs through a background queue with automatic retries and backoff. Failures are recorded in the sync log with the exact API response, and you can retry any record with one click.
No. All syncing happens in the background through WooCommerce's Action Scheduler, so nothing is added to the checkout request your customer waits on.
Stock and orders sync on a short interval (and instantly via the manual button). True real-time webhooks from Zoho require a paid Zoho plan; InventoryBridge uses reliable scheduled polling that works on every plan.
All Zoho Inventory regions. India gets full GST handling (GSTIN, HSN, place of supply); other regions use VAT / sales-tax fields automatically.
Yes. They are separate plugins with separate Zoho connections, separate database tables and separate settings — nothing is shared between them, so running both does not cause double-processing of the same order.
No. InventoryBridge talks only to your own Zoho Inventory organization using your credentials. It does not phone home. See the "External services" section above for exactly what is shared with Zoho.
