Awesome Calendar Events

Awesome Calendar Events turns ordinary posts into full-featured events. Give a post a date, time, and optional recurrence rule, and Awesome Calendar Events takes care of the rest: subscribable calendar feeds, downloadable single-event invites, live countdowns, and one-click "Add to Calendar" links. Features

Event List block The "Event List" block (in the Awesome Calendar Events category) is built on the core Query Loop block and lists upcoming events using the events query API. Recurring events are shown once while their recurrence is ongoing. When inserted, the default item template contains the Event Date block on top, followed by the Featured Image and Title. The only query customization available is filtering by category or tags. Advanced Query Loop integration Works with Advanced Query Loop plugin to build dynamic lists of upcoming events. Use these keywords to create date filters that update automatically using the site's local timezone:

• todays_date for the current date in Y-m-d format
• today_minus_1 for the previous date in Y-m-d format

Both values work as a single meta-query value or within a BETWEEN value array.
