It's an extension for the Bookster plugin that lets you create flexible pricing rules directly within your booking checkout. Instead of fixed service prices, you can offer discounts or apply extra fees based on conditions like date, time, service, agent, location, and customer.
Yes. The Bookster core plugin must be installed and active first. Once you install and activate the Discounts and Fees Addon, the Discounts section will appear inside your Bookster Settings dashboard immediately.
Go to your Bookster dashboard, then navigate to Settings → Discounts. From there you can create new discounts, edit existing ones, and filter your list by status: Active, Scheduled, or Expired.
You can create both percentage-based discounts (e.g. 15% off) and fixed amount discounts or fees (e.g. $10 off or +$5 surcharge). The value type is selected per discount when you create or edit it.
Yes. Each discount has a Date Range field where you set a start and end date, plus a start time and end time. Discounts set for a future date will appear as Scheduled in your list and activate automatically when the time comes.
Yes. The Repeat Weekdays option lets you restrict a discount to certain days — useful for recurring promotions like a Monday Happy Hours discount, or a weekend surcharge.
By default, only one coupon can be applied per booking. If you want to allow stacking, enable the Multiple Coupons toggle in the Usage Restrictions tab for that discount. When enabled, customers will see all eligible coupons at checkout and can apply more than one.
Eligible coupons are shown automatically on the checkout screen under "Pick a coupon." Customers can select one (or more, if multiple coupons are allowed) and the discount is reflected in the booking summary before they confirm.
Yes. Each discount has an Active toggle in the Usage Restrictions tab. Turning it off makes the discount unavailable for appointment bookings while keeping all its settings intact.
When creating a discount, you can either type a custom coupon code or click "Random" to generate one automatically.
Yes. Under Usage Restrictions, you can select one or more specific services. Services are grouped by category in the dropdown, making it easy to target the right ones. For example, applying a discount only to "Cat Treatment" or "Puppy First Groom."
Yes. Usage Restrictions lets you target any combination of agents, locations, and customers. You can leave any of these set to "All" to apply the discount without that restriction.
Yes. You can set a Total Coupons Code limit (or leave it Unlimited) and a separate Usage Limit Per Customer to control how many times a single customer can apply the same coupon.
