Yes. Breezy AI Search is a hosted service. Starting the free trial from the plugin creates your account; no credit card is needed.
It is free for 14 days, AI answers included. After that you choose a plan based on the size of your site. Current plans and prices are at www.breezyplugins.com/ai-search/.
Yes. After an answer, a visitor can ask a follow-up and the conversation carries on: the next answer takes into account what they already asked. Answers still come only from your own pages.
Only from your own site. We read your public pages and the AI answers from them, showing the pages it used. It does not answer from the wider internet.
No. Reading your pages and answering questions happen on our servers. On your site, the plugin adds one script, loaded at the end of the page so it doesn't hold up your content, and nothing is stored in your WordPress database apart from the plugin's own settings.
Only if you choose. Tick "Use Breezy AI Search for my site's search box" and searching from your existing search box opens Breezy AI Search. Leave it unticked (the default) to keep your theme's search as it is, and add a floating button or your own button from the portal's Configuration instead.
Two things are needed. Search is off until you switch it on: open Breezy → AI Search → Configure and click Switch search on. And it needs a place to appear: tick "Use Breezy AI Search for my site's search box", or add a floating button or your own button in the portal's Configuration. Then clear any page cache. Your theme must call wp_footer(), which nearly all themes do.
WordPress labels each site as Production, Staging, Development or Local. Search stays off on test copies so test visits don't count in your analytics or use AI answers from your plan. You can turn it on for test copies under the Advanced tab.
An invisible breezy-ai-search-verify meta tag that confirms you own the site. It is removed when you disconnect or uninstall.
Yes. White-label is included in our higher plans. See www.breezyplugins.com/ai-search/.
Please do, wherever you added it (for example a header and footer plugin). If both are there, only one is used, so search won't appear twice, but the plugin's settings are easier to follow with one copy.
Search stops showing on your site and the verification tag is removed. Deleting the plugin also removes its settings from WordPress. Your account, the pages we have read and your analytics stay in the portal until you close your account there.
Yes. Each site in a network is connected, switched on and configured on its own, and each can have its own search. That includes sites that share a domain, such as example.com/one and example.com/two.
