Take bookings on your WordPress site, without the back-and-forth. Buildler is an appointment booking plugin for WordPress. Put a form on a page. People choose what they need, who they see and a time that is actually free, then confirm. You run the diary from the admin. It is for anyone who takes appointments.   1. Activate the plugin and finish the setup wizard. A first form is ready in minutes.
  2. Place the Buildler booking form block on a page, or the [bookline_booking] shortcode.
  3. Visitors book on a phone or a desktop. You see the appointment on the calendar.
Online appointment booking The form is a short journey: service, staff, location, extras, time, details, confirm. Steps that have only one choice fall away on their own, so a simple setup stays short. Guests can book without creating an account. The widget is built for a phone first. It brings its own layout, so it looks the same in a block theme, a classic theme or a page-builder page. Booking calendar and availability Working hours, time off and buffers are calculated on the server. Two people cannot take the same last slot. Staff and customers can sit in different time zones. Daylight saving is part of that calculation. In the admin you get a calendar of the day and the week, a bookings list, and the catalogue: services, staff, locations and extras. Payments Payments are optional. Take a card payment or a deposit through Stripe, or leave money out of it and settle another way. Card details stay with Stripe. They never sit in your database. Email notifications Confirmation, reminder and cancellation emails go through your site's mailer. There is a log in the admin: you can open a message, see whether it went out, and retry if it failed. What you manage Privacy Bookings, customers, catalogue data and settings stay on your WordPress site. Email uses your site's mailer. Stripe, if you turn it on, handles card details on Stripe's servers. Buildler does not send your diary to a third-party product site. Third-party services Stripe is optional. It is used only after you save keys in settings.

  1. Upload the buildler folder to /wp-content/plugins/. Do not rename it.
  2. Activate Buildler on the Plugins screen.
  3. Open Buildler in the admin and finish the setup wizard.
  4. Add the Buildler booking form block to a page, or [bookline_booking].

How do I add a booking form to a page?

Use the Buildler booking form block in the editor, or [bookline_booking] in the classic editor, a shortcode widget, or a page builder that accepts shortcodes.

Do customers need a WordPress account?

No. Guests can complete a booking without registering.

Will two people get the same time?

The last free slot is locked on the server. One booking succeeds. The other is told the time has gone.

Can staff and customers be in different time zones?

Yes. Availability is calculated with explicit time zones, including across daylight saving.

Do I have to use Stripe?

No. Leave payments off if you take money another way. Turn Stripe on when you want a deposit or a card payment at booking.

Can I take a deposit instead of the full amount?

Yes, when Stripe is enabled. You choose deposit or full payment.

Will the form clash with my theme?

The booking widget uses its own layout. It is meant to look the same wherever you place it, including common page builders.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes. Most bookings are made on a phone. The form is laid out for a small screen first.

Can I run more than one location?

Yes. Locations are part of the plugin. The form only offers times that exist for the location the visitor picked.

Can I edit how the form looks?

Yes. Each form has appearance controls next to a live preview: colour, type, spacing.

How do emails work?

They go through your site's mailer. Open the notification log to read what was sent and retry a failure.

Does it require WooCommerce?

No.

Can I translate it?

Yes. A translation template ships with the plugin.
