Minimum Requirements
- WordPress 6.0 or greater
- WooCommerce 7.0 or greater
- PHP 7.4 or later (PHP 8.0+ recommended)
- MySQL 5.6 or greater OR MariaDB 10.1 or greater
- Go to Plugins → Add New in your WordPress admin
- Search for "Buildora PC Builder for WooCommerce"
- Click Install Now and then Activate
- Download the plugin
.zipfile - Go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin
- Upload the
.zipfile and click Install Now - Activate the plugin after installation
- You will be redirected to the Setup Wizard automatically
- Follow the wizard to:
- Map your existing WooCommerce categories to PC component types (or auto-create them)
- Optionally import demo products and specs for testing
- Create and configure the PC Builder page
- Open the Builder Page and start building!
- Activate the plugin and run the Setup Wizard
- On the Demo Data step, click Import Full Demo — categories, 60+ demo products, specs, compatibility rules, and 3 pre-made build templates will be created
- Open the Builder — everything works out of the box

常见问题:
Does it require WooCommerce?
Yes. WooCommerce must be installed and active. The plugin was built for WooCommerce product catalogs and the cart/checkout flow.
Will it work with my theme?
PC Builder uses its own isolated React-based UI that's rendered via shortcode, Gutenberg block, or Elementor widget. It includes responsive styling and works with any properly-coded WooCommerce-compatible theme.
Can I change which component types appear?
Yes. Go to PC Builder → Settings → Components and toggle rows on/off, reorder them, or change their labels. The plugin includes all 17 standard PC components.
Where are product specs stored?
PC Builder adds its own dedicated spec meta fields to WooCommerce products. Edit any product and use the PC Builder Specs panel to fill in socket, TDP, chipset, form-factor, RAM slots, PSU wattage, etc. These specs power the compatibility engine.
How many builds can a customer save?
Logged-in customers can save up to 5 builds.
Can builds be shared with customers or on social media?
Customers can copy a plain-text build summary to clipboard.
Is HPOS (High-Performance Order Storage) supported?
Yes. The plugin declares WooCommerce HPOS compatibility via the official FeaturesUtil::declare_compatibility method.
Is the plugin translation-ready?
Yes. The text domain is buildora-pc-builder and a .pot file is included in the languages/ folder.
Is personal data collected?
No. PC Builder does not send any data to external servers. Saved builds are stored locally as WordPress user meta. See the Privacy section below.
