When this plugin is activated, your WP admin can export and import data. The export/Import page will appear in your WordPress backend admin menu. Check the settings page to export selected post fields (data) and selected post status.

You can import custom posts by visiting the import page in the BT Lite menu page. You only have to import custom posts by assigning existing authors or importing new authors for the posts.

- New: redesigned all admin screens (Export, Import, Settings, About) with a cleaner card-based layout, a branded header, and tab navigation between screens.
- New: the import screen now shows a progress bar while posts are imported in the background.
- Fix: the author dropdown on the Export screen could render empty instead of listing available authors, on sites with posts that have no valid author (for example, content brought in by another import tool).
- Fix: author mapping was lost after the first import batch, causing imported posts beyond the first 10 to be attributed to the current user instead of the mapped/created author.
- Fix: exporting with the Post Status setting left at "All" returned zero posts.
- Security: import file uploads are now validated as JSON instead of disabling WordPress's file-type checks.
- Security: images referenced in imported files are now fetched through WordPress's safe HTTP API instead of a raw file read, blocking unsafe URL schemes and local/internal addresses.
- Fix: importing an invalid, empty, or corrupted file no longer triggers a fatal error; a clear error message is shown instead.
- Fix: the temporary uploaded import file is now actually cleaned up after one hour as intended.
- Fix: the plugin deactivation-feedback payload no longer hardcodes version 1.0.0.
- Removed an unconditionally-loaded, empty front-end script (no functional impact, minor performance improvement).
- Removed unnecessary unauthenticated AJAX endpoints for admin-only actions.
- Tested up to WordPress 7.1 and PHP 8.3.
