Does Cartexa work with my theme?
Yes. Cartexa injects all frontend UI via wp_footer — it does not override any WooCommerce templates. Tested with Astra, Kadence, GeneratePress, OceanWP, Flatsome, Storefront, Divi, Blocksy, Hello Elementor, Bricks, and Twenty Twenty-Five.
Does it require jQuery?
No. The entire frontend codebase is pure vanilla JavaScript (ES6). There is zero jQuery dependency.
How do I add the cart icon to my header?
Three ways: (1) Shortcode [cartexa_cart_icon] in any shortcode-ready location. (2) The Cartexa Cart Icon widget in Appearance → Widgets. (3) Enable Settings → Nav Menu to auto-inject into your navigation menu.
Can I enable all modules at once?
Yes. Each module is independently toggleable and has zero overhead when disabled.
Does it work with variable products?
Yes. Variation attributes, images, and per-variation pricing all display correctly in the drawer and all modules.
Is HPOS supported?
Yes. Cartexa declares full High-Performance Order Storage compatibility. All cart operations use WC()->cart — no direct order table queries.
Does it work with WooCommerce Cart and Checkout Blocks?
Yes. Cartexa implements Level 1 (JS store API events) and Level 2 (Block page detection) support. The drawer, FAB, and Sticky Bar automatically adjust their behavior on Block-based cart and checkout pages.
What happens to settings if I deactivate the plugin?
Settings are preserved on deactivation. Only deleting the plugin triggers uninstall.php which removes all plugin data from the database.
Can I export my settings to another site?
Yes. Go to Cartexa → Export / Import in the admin panel to download a JSON backup of your settings or import them on another site.
