What is Chatvox?

Chatvox is an AI agent platform for teams. It helps you train agents on your website, docs, files, and other knowledge sources, then deploy those agents as branded chat experiences.

Where do I find my Agent ID?

Open your Chatvox account at chatvox.co, go to your agent deployment settings, and copy the Agent ID used in the web widget install script.

Do I need a Chatvox account?

Yes. This plugin loads an existing Chatvox agent on your WordPress site. You create, train, customize, and manage the agent in Chatvox.

What can I train my Chatvox agent on?

Chatvox supports knowledge sources such as website pages, uploaded files, individual URLs, sitemaps, raw text snippets, Q&A pairs, and website crawls. Training is handled in Chatvox, not inside WordPress.

How do I show the Chatvox widget on my site?

Enter your Chatvox Agent ID in Settings > Chatvox and save. The widget will appear on your site using the configuration from your Chatvox account.

Does this edit my theme files?

No. The plugin uses WordPress script loading hooks and does not modify your theme files.

Can I disable the widget temporarily?

Yes. Clear the Agent ID and save the settings.

Can I customize the widget colors, position, branding, or allowed domains?

Yes. Widget customization and domain allowlist settings are managed in your Chatvox account.

Can Chatvox capture leads?

Chatvox supports lead capture workflows from the Chatvox platform. If enabled for your agent, visitor-submitted lead details are processed by Chatvox according to your Chatvox configuration.

Does this plugin add live chat or AI training features inside WordPress?

No. The plugin installs the Chatvox web widget on WordPress. Chat management, AI training, automations, integrations, and usage settings live in Chatvox.
