- Upload the
chimely-social-prooffolder to/wp-content/plugins/, or install the zip via Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin. - Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress.
- Go to Chimely > Add New to create your first notification.
- Choose a Notification Type and Data Source, adjust Content/Display/Timing/Design, and publish.
常见问题:
Does this work without WooCommerce?
Yes. Manual entries, CSV import, WordPress comments and user signups all work without any eCommerce plugin. WooCommerce support is automatically enabled when WooCommerce is active.
Is the Visitor Count real or simulated?
Real by default — it's based on actual page views tracked with a lightweight heartbeat. You can set a natural minimum so the count never looks empty on a quiet page.
Can I use it on multiple pages with different settings?
Yes. Each notification is its own post with its own display rules, so you can run as many independent notifications as you like.
Does this plugin send data to external servers?
Only in the two cases described under "External services" below: the optional Google Reviews source, and Gravatar avatar images. Nothing is ever sent to the plugin's author, there is no telemetry or usage tracking, and no licence check or "phone home" of any kind. Every notification, entry and visitor count is stored in your own database.
