- Log in to your Beehiiv account.
- Go to Settings > Integrations (or open Beehiiv → Settings → Integrations).
- Create a new API key.
- Paste it into the ClickSyncr Beehiiv settings of any form.

- Log in to your WordPress dashboard.
- Go to Plugins > Add New.
- Search for "ClickSyncr for Beehiiv".
- Click Install Now, then Activate.
- Download the plugin ZIP file.
- In your WordPress dashboard, go to Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin.
- Choose the ZIP file and click Install Now.
- Activate the plugin.
- Edit any form and open its ClickSyncr Beehiiv settings.
- Paste your Beehiiv API key, choose a publication, and map your fields (email is required).

Do I need a Beehiiv account?
Yes. You'll need an active Beehiiv account and an API key to sync your subscribers.
Which form builders are supported?
Contact Form 7, WPForms, Gravity Forms, Ninja Forms, Fluent Forms, Formidable Forms, and Forminator. At least one of them must be installed and activated.
Where do I find my Beehiiv API key?
Log in to Beehiiv and go to Settings > Integrations, then create a new API key. Each builder setup guide shows exactly where to paste it.
Can I map custom fields?
Yes. Map any form field to your publication's Beehiiv custom fields. Fields are per publication, so the mapping list follows the publication you choose.
How does the opt-in consent field work?
Pick a consent field (a checkbox, acceptance, or radio) from your form. When a visitor ticks it, the subscriber is added directly; if they leave it unticked, Beehiiv sends them a confirmation email instead. Leave it as "None" to use the subscriber status you chose for the form.
Does it work with Beehiiv double opt-in?
Yes. Choose "Use publication setting" as the subscriber status and your publication's own double opt-in setting decides. The Active and Unconfirmed choices override it per form.
Will it create duplicate subscribers?
No. Beehiiv deduplicates by email: existing subscribers are reactivated and new ones are added.
Can I use different settings for different forms?
Yes. Every form has its own ClickSyncr Beehiiv setup, so each can sync to a different publication.
