CodexCR AI Publisher generates complete articles manually on request, using the WordPress AI Client introduced in WordPress 7.0. The administrator connects a supported provider via Settings > Connectors, enters a topic, and receives an editable WordPress draft with SEO-related metadata, tags, and business-context calls to action.
No paid CodexCR license or time/usage limit is required for this free functionality. AI providers may charge for API usage.
Business-focused editorial workflow
- Real services and business context: Include offered services, intended readers, service area, real contact details, and brand tone in prompts.
- Approved external links: Generated links outside an administrator-controlled URL/domain allowlist are removed; this plugin does not scrape external websites.
- Relevant internal links: Point articles toward selected service URLs.
- Reduce duplicate topics: Existing post titles are provided as context, not a uniqueness guarantee.
- Editorial control: Posts are drafts by default, and editorial warnings can block immediate publishing.
- Structured article data: Titles, slugs, excerpts, tags, SEO titles, focus keyphrases, and meta descriptions; integration with AIOSEO if present.
AI providers
- WordPress 7.0 or newer is required. Credentials are managed by WordPress Settings > Connectors, not by this plugin.
- Any compatible text-generation AI provider supported by the WordPress AI Client can be used. For Groq, install a compatible Groq AI Client provider plugin from WordPress.org and enter its API key via WordPress Connectors. Provider connectors are independently maintained; no connector is bundled, installed, downloaded, or activated by CodexCR AI Publisher.
- The WordPress AI Client selects a model available for the site and handles provider communication. The plugin suggests capable text models (GPT-OSS 120B, GPT-OSS 20B or Llama 3.3 70B), with automatic fallback when unavailable. This does not remove provider rate limits. Generated JSON must still satisfy the plugin's required article schema; if the provider returns an invalid response, no incomplete article is created.
- Provider services may have their own pricing, quotas, and privacy terms. CodexCR does not supply API credits.
Free and Pro
Free: manual generation, business profile, source and link controls, SEO fields, editorial review, and settings import/export. No artificial trial or quota. An optional Pro add-on distributed separately outside
WordPress.org provides autonomous topics, daily publishing, AI images through Cloudflare, advanced rules, and CodexCR licensing. The Free ZIP has no locked premium code and does not install remote code.
External services and privacy
When a site administrator requests article generation or tests the AI connection, CodexCR AI Publisher passes the selected topic, optional keyword, business profile, configured services and contact details, approved sources, existing post titles, and editorial instructions to the
WordPress AI Client. WordPress then sends those inputs to whichever third-party AI provider has been configured in Settings > Connectors. The provider may process and retain information according to its own terms. Administrators should avoid entering confidential or personal information into prompts and review the applicable provider's privacy policy. This plugin does not independently send requests to Groq or any other AI provider, store their API secrets, send telemetry, or contact CodexCR servers from Free.

Content responsibility
AI models can produce factual mistakes, misleading claims, inappropriate wording or unverified citations. The site owner must review output for accuracy, copyright, lawful use and appropriate SEO practices. This plugin is not intended to generate spam or misleading content.
