ContentCortex – Outdated Content Alerts helps editorial and content teams find published posts, pages, and custom post types that have not been updated within a defined cadence (e.g., 90 days, 180 days, or a custom duration).

Does "Mark as reviewed" modify my post modified date?
No. Marking an item as reviewed updates a private meta timestamp (_ocap_last_reviewed). It does not modify post_modified_gmt, ensuring sitemaps and search engine update signals remain clean.
How does the email digest schedule work?
Digests are scheduled via WordPress WP-Cron for your preferred day, time, and recurrence (weekly, monthly, or quarterly). For low-traffic sites, configuring a system-level cron job is recommended.
Can I customize the email template?
Yes! You can customize colors, headers, intros, footers, and logos directly in the admin settings with a real-time live preview. Additionally, developers can copy templates/email/digest.php to {theme}/contentcortex/email/digest.php to customize the HTML.
