Do I need an API key?
No. Live prices are served from a fast, globally cached CDN endpoint maintained by Currency.Wiki. There is nothing to sign up for.
How often do prices update?
Price data is refreshed on the server every 15 minutes, and each widget re-checks for new prices every few minutes in the visitor's browser.
Which coins are supported?
Over 60 of the top cryptocurrencies by market cap, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, XRP, BNB, Dogecoin, Cardano, TRON, Chainlink, Litecoin, and more. Unknown symbols are ignored safely.
Can I show prices in my local currency?
Yes. The ticker, list, and coin card can display prices in USD, EUR, GBP, JPY, INR, BRL, RUB, TRY, or IDR. The converter also converts crypto to crypto.
Does it slow down my site?
No. The widget loads asynchronously and is only a few kilobytes. It does not block page rendering.
Does it collect any data?
No. The widget sets no cookies and collects no personal data from your visitors.
Is this financial advice?
No. Prices are informational only, aggregated from public market data, and can lag the live market. Always verify prices on an exchange before trading.
Does it add a link to my site?
Not unless you ask it to. The "Powered by Currency.Wiki" credit is off by default. You can turn it on under Crypto Widget → Settings, or per embed with branding="1". The widget looks and works exactly the same either way.

- The Crypto Widget settings screen now shows live previews of all four styles (ticker, coin card, market list, converter) right on the page, so you can see them without opening the block editor or the online builder.
- Activation now asks once whether to show the optional "Powered by" credit. It stays off unless you say yes.
