Daftar Cash lets WordPress and WooCommerce stores in Egypt accept payments from customers through Egyptian mobile wallets and the InstaPay instant payment network, with automatic order confirmation and no per-transaction commission charged by the service.
The plugin is a client for the Daftar Cash service (https://daftarcash.com). A Daftar Cash merchant account is required; plans, pricing and the free trial are described on the service website.
How it works
- The customer chooses "Daftar Cash" on the WooCommerce checkout page.
- The customer is sent to a secure hosted payment page that shows the wallet number, the exact amount and a countdown timer.
- The customer transfers the amount from their wallet or the InstaPay app.
- When the transfer confirmation reaches the merchant's receiving phone, the service matches it to the order and sends a signed webhook to your store.
- The WooCommerce order is updated automatically, with no manual work from the merchant or the customer.
- Automatic payment confirmation: no screenshots or manual matching of notifications.
- Egyptian wallets and InstaPay: Vodafone Cash, Orange Cash, Etisalat Cash, WE Pay and InstaPay.
- Classic checkout and Cart & Checkout Blocks are both supported.
- HPOS compatible: declared compatible with WooCommerce High-Performance Order Storage.
- Signed webhooks: every payment notification is signed with HMAC-SHA256 so it cannot be forged.
- Automatic cancellation of unpaid orders: when the payment window expires, the order is cancelled and stock is restored.
- Deposit for cash on delivery: optionally ask for a deposit (percentage or fixed amount) to be paid by wallet, with the rest collected on delivery.
- Sandbox mode: test the whole flow with a test key, without moving real money. The gateway is only offered when the store currency is the Egyptian pound (EGP).

- Upload the
daftar-cash-payment-gateway-for-woocommercefolder to/wp-content/plugins/, or install the plugin from the WordPress admin (Plugins > Add New). - Activate the plugin from the Plugins screen. WooCommerce must be active.
- Go to WooCommerce > Settings > Payments > Daftar Cash.
- Enable the gateway and enter the keys from your Daftar Cash merchant dashboard:
- Merchant API Key
- Signature Secret Key
- Copy the webhook URL shown in the settings and paste it into the developer settings of your Daftar Cash merchant account.

Does the plugin require WooCommerce?
Yes. It is a payment gateway for WooCommerce stores.
Do I need a Daftar Cash account?
Yes. You need an active Daftar Cash merchant account and the Daftar Cash app installed on the phone that receives the wallet transfers, because that is how payments are confirmed automatically.
Is it compatible with High-Performance Order Storage (HPOS)?
Yes, the plugin declares compatibility with HPOS and with the Cart & Checkout Blocks.
Which currency is supported?
Egyptian pound (EGP) only. The gateway is hidden when the store uses another currency.
Are bank cards supported?
No. The gateway supports Egyptian mobile wallets and InstaPay.
Can I test without real money?
Yes. Use the test API key from your merchant dashboard. Test notifications never change real order status or stock.

- Security: a webhook is accepted only for an invoice created by this plugin for that order and with the same amount; notifications older than one hour are rejected; duplicate notifications do not repeat order notes.
- Security: sandbox (test_mode) notifications never change order status or stock; with a test key the payment method is visible to store managers only, with an admin warning.
- The order stays "Pending payment" until confirmation; if the payment arrives after cancellation, the order is restored.
- The customer receives a payment receipt by email, and the order is marked "Refunded" when the merchant marks the invoice as refunded.
- Customers see a generic message if the invoice could not be created; details are logged as an order note and shown to the merchant in an admin notice.
- The gateway is hidden when the store currency is not the Egyptian pound.
- Orders created with the legacy payment method id (vodacash_gateway) are still confirmed by the same webhook.
- Admin notices are limited to the relevant WooCommerce and Plugins screens.
