- Upload the Direct Download Plugins and Themes Zip plugin to the
/wp-content/plugins/ directory
- Activate the Direct Download Plugins and Themes Zip plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress

- Go to WordPress 'Settings' > 'Plugins & Themes Zip' menu.
How to download any plugin or theme?
- Go to WordPress 'Plugins' > 'Installed Plugins', to download any plugin.
- Go to WordPress 'Appearance' > 'Themes', to download any theme, once the page loads completely.
Is there need to do any settings?
- There is no need to do any settings. Once you download plugin, it is ready to download.
Download stops in-between or not starting ?
- If your theme file is very heavy or there are too many themes or plugins to download then this issue may arise.
- WordPress has memory limit which can cause this error. This limit can be increased in wp-config.php file.
- To increase memory limit go to public_html/wp-config.php file. Add the following code:
define( 'WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '-1' ); //to increase memory limit
set_time_limit(-1); //to increase execution time
- If it don't solve issue then there may be need to upgrade your host itself.
