You saved $80.00It counts the difference between the old price and the sale price on every item in the basket, and, if you want, the coupons the customer has used as well. Works on the blocks and on the classic pages WooCommerce now uses the Cart and Checkout blocks by default, and most plugins written for the old shortcode pages quietly do nothing there. This one adds the saving to both: the figure is worked out in PHP and handed to the blocks through the Store API, so the number is always the one your shop calculated. On the classic shortcode pages it also puts the old price beside the sale price in the price column and the line total, which those pages do not do on their own. It carries on after the sale The saving is written onto the order when it is placed, then shown again on the confirmation page, under My Account and in the order email. Because it is stored rather than worked out again later, it still reads correctly months afterwards, when the sale has long ended and the prices have changed. What you can change
[ecdrp_saved] shortcode, with your own wording.ecdrp_total_saved filter.Activate the plugin. A "You saved" row appears under the totals on the cart and the checkout, with the total discount across everything in the basket. You can change the wording under WooCommerce, then Discount Price.
Yes. The saving is added to both the blocks and the old shortcode pages. The figure comes from the Store API, so it matches what your shop charges.
That is your choice. By default a coupon counts towards the saving, so a customer who used a code sees the full amount they saved. You can switch it to sale prices only.
WooCommerce shows the old price per item in the blocks, and a "Save" badge beside it, but it does not add up the saving across the basket. That total is what this plugin adds.
Yes, if you want them to. The saving appears on the order confirmation, under My Account and in the order email. It is saved onto the order at the moment of purchase, so it stays right even after the sale ends.
Yes. Switch on the percentage and the row reads "You saved $80.00 (40%)". The percentage is worked out against what the basket would have cost at the old prices.
Use the [ecdrp_saved] shortcode. It prints the current saving, and takes your own wording, for example [ecdrp_saved label="Total savings"].
Yes. The saving uses the price WooCommerce is charging for each item, so scheduled sales, variable products and prices set by other plugins are all counted correctly.
No. The saving is worked out from the cart that WooCommerce has already loaded, with no extra database queries, and the script on the blocks only renders the row.
