Discounts Mania Consultations adds a clean booking widget to any page. Clients choose a length, pick a day and time from the slots you have free, fill in a short form and get an instant confirmation email with a calendar file. What you get Pro add-on (optional, separate plugin) A separate add-on, Discounts Mania Consultations Pro, adds Paystack payments, automatic refunds, Google Meet and Zoom links, Google Calendar busy times, staff assignment with booking notes, bulk delete and Excel export of bookings. The free plugin is complete without it and none of its features are locked. The Settings page and Go Pro screen describe the add-on, with a link to get it. How it works
  1. Install and activate the plugin.
  2. Create a page with the [dm_consultation] shortcode and open it once.
  3. Optionally create a "My bookings" page with [dm_consultation_account].
  4. Set your hours and details under Consultations → Settings.
For developers Discounts Mania Consultations exposes actions and filters (for example dmcb_booking_confirmed, dmcb_busy_periods and dmcb_frontend_config) so other plugins can build on it.

安装:

  1. Upload the plugin folder to /wp-content/plugins/, or install it from the Plugins screen.
  2. Activate it.
  3. Add the [dm_consultation] shortcode to a page.
  4. Go to Consultations → Settings to set your hours.
Emails are sent with wp_mail(). For reliable delivery, use an SMTP plugin.

升级注意事项:

1.4.0 Payments, Google Meet and Zoom now live in a separate add-on. If you used them, install the add-on before updating.

常见问题:

Does it take payments or create Zoom or Google Meet links?

Not in this plugin. Bookings are confirmed straight away. You can add your own meeting details (a phone number, an address or a link) in Settings and they are included in emails and the calendar file. A separate add-on, Discounts Mania Consultations Pro, adds payments, refunds, Google Meet and Zoom links, staff assignment and notes, bulk delete, and Excel export. It is sold on the author's website and is not required.

Which time zone does it use?

The one set under Settings → General → Timezone.

Where is my data stored?

In your own WordPress database. Booking and log tables are kept when you delete the plugin, unless you add define( 'DMCB_DELETE_DATA', true ); to wp-config.php first.

Why aren't reminders arriving on time?

Reminders run from WP-Cron, which runs when your site gets visitors. On a quiet site, set up a real server cron that requests wp-cron.php every few minutes.
