What is the difference between cloning a post and adding a revision?
A clone is a new post you intend to keep. A revision is a private working copy of something already published: you rewrite it, compare it against the live version, then merge it back so the original keeps its URL, its publish date and its comments.
Will duplicating a post change the original post's URL?
No. A copy is created without a slug of its own, so WordPress never renames the post you copied. The page you already rank for keeps its permalink.
Does duplicating a post create duplicate content?
