  1. (Recommended) Take a full backup of your site
  2. Upload the plugin folder to /wp-content/plugins/
  3. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress
  4. Go to WebP Converter in the admin menu to run bulk conversions and view logs
  5. Enjoy faster image loading with WebP

升级注意事项:

Initial release. Always back up your media library and database before running bulk updates.

常见问题:

Does this plugin remove the original JPG/PNG images?

No. Original images remain untouched. WebP is served only to supported browsers.

What if WebP conversion fails?

Failed conversions are logged and can be viewed in the Failed Conversion Logs section of the plugin admin page.

Can I change the WebP quality?

Currently, the default quality is 80. Future versions may allow a settings slider.
