FreshFarm Connector lets an authorised farm share its public WooCommerce product catalogue with the FreshFarm network.
The farm remains in control of its source catalogue. Products, prices and stock stay managed in WooCommerce. FreshFarm imports approved listings into its own governed catalogue, where customers use FreshFarm checkout and choose the fulfilment options available for that order. FreshFarm then applies the agreed network fee and manages farm payouts through its payment provider.
Shared fields include product name, description, public URL, image URL, price, stock status, category and last-modified time. The plugin sends these fields to the FreshFarm network address configured by the farmer. Requests are authenticated with a timestamped HMAC signature.
External service and privacy
This plugin connects to the FreshFarm service only after a shop manager enters credentials, grants explicit catalogue-sharing permission and saves the settings. It sends the shop name, public website URL, currency, timezone, software versions and the public catalogue fields described above. It does not send your WooCommerce customer records, orders, passwords or card details. Separately authorised tools retrieve FreshFarm order and account information and send the changes you explicitly make: order status, supply issues, notification choices, support messages, FarmFlash news and public farm details.
The service is operated by FreshFarm Network Limited. Service terms and the privacy notice are available at https://freshfarm.app/?page=terms and https://freshfarm.app/?page=privacy. A farmer can stop future sharing and erase the locally stored connection key with the Disconnect control.
- Install and activate WooCommerce.
- Upload the FreshFarm Connector ZIP in Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin.
- Activate the plugin.
- Open FreshFarm > Shop connection.
- Enter the Farm ID and connection key supplied by FreshFarm.
- Review and grant catalogue-sharing permission, save, then test the connection.
If you are new to FreshFarm, the plugin provides a Join FreshFarm button. Create a farmer or food-producer account and complete the farm profile. Once the farm is approved, sign in to FreshFarm, open Connect WooCommerce and create the Farm ID and one-time connection key for your shop.
