📋 Minimum Requirements
- WordPress 5.8 or higher
- PHP 7.4 or higher (PHP 8.0+ recommended)
- MySQL 5.6 or MariaDB 10 or higher
- SSL Certificate strongly recommended for secure payment processing
- Log in to your WordPress dashboard and navigate to Plugins > Add New.
- Search for "FundCollector" and click Install Now, then Activate.
- On activation, FundCollector creates a sample Donation page (draft) with the donation form already embedded, plus Thank You, Payment Failed, and Privacy pages.
- A setup wizard launches automatically to guide you through the initial configuration.
- Go to FundCollector > Settings to configure the plugin, or open the Logs tab to review activity and error logs.
- See the Getting Started guide for detailed setup instructions.
- Download the FundCollector zip file from the WordPress Plugin Directory and unzip it.
- Upload the extracted folder to
/wp-content/plugins/via SFTP. - Activate the plugin from the Plugins menu. A sample Donation page and related default pages are created automatically.

Is FundCollector really free?
Yes. The FundCollector plugin available on WordPress.org is open source and completely free to download and use. FundCollector takes no percentage or commission on your donation payments. Standard fees from payment processors (such as PayPal) or your bank may still apply.
Do donors need an account to donate?
No. Donors can give without registering or creating a WordPress account — the donation form works as simple guest donations.
Can I use FundCollector with page builders like Elementor, Divi, or Classic Editor?
Yes. Embed the form with the Gutenberg block or the [fundcollector_donation_form] shortcode. It works with Elementor, Divi, Classic Editor, and other builders that support shortcodes (on Elementor, use the Shortcode widget).
Is PayPal required to receive donations?
No. PayPal is optional — you can use bank transfers only.
Does this work with PayPal sandbox?
