- Upload the plugin folder to
/wp-content/plugins/or install the ZIP via Plugins -> Add New -> Upload. - Activate GemFind Diamond Link through the Plugins menu.
- Go to GemFind Diamond Link -> Settings and enter your JewelCloud Account ID (Dealer ID) and admin email.
- Open the Diamond Link page (created on install) or add
[gemfindDL_diamond_link]to a page using the GemFind Diamond Tools (full width) template if desired. - Pre-built JavaScript bundles are included under
public/(storefront) andassets/build/(admin). If you develop from source, runnpm run buildin the plugin directory before deploying.

Do I need a GemFind account?
Yes. Live diamond inventory is loaded from JewelCloud using your dealer credentials. GemFind support provides your Account ID.
Does this work without WooCommerce?
Yes. Browsing, filtering, email actions, and print work without WooCommerce. Add-to-cart requires WooCommerce to be installed and active.
What is the difference between v1 and v2?
v2 is the current Diamond Link experience (default). v1 is the classic UI for sites that still rely on the older layout. Choose the default under Settings -> Frontend experience, or override per page with the shortcode version attribute.
What data is sent to external servers?
This plugin requires JewelCloud for live diamond inventory and optionally connects to other third-party services (analytics, spam protection, social widgets, virtual try-on). See the External services section below for what each service is used for, what data is sent, when calls happen, and links to each provider's terms of service and privacy policy.

- V1 diamond search: bug fixes and improvements to the search filters.
- V1 diamond list: fixed the "Additional Information" quick view sometimes not opening (or opening empty) on themes that load Font Awesome's JavaScript, which swaps the info icon for an SVG. The diamond is now taken from the row, not from the clicked icon.
- V1 Additional Information: opens immediately with a loading state instead of a full-page loader, remembers diamonds already viewed, and shows a "Try again" message if the details can't be loaded.
- V1 popups (Additional Information, Diamond Details, Drop A Hint, Request More Info, E-Mail A Friend, Schedule Viewing): refreshed, cleaner design that always sits above sticky theme headers, the WordPress admin bar and chat widgets.
- V1 contact popups: full-width fields with larger text, a fixed header with a scrolling form, side-by-side contact preference options, and send-error messages shown above the open popup.
- V1: diamond measurements are formatted consistently (for example "5.60 × 5.58 × 3.81 mm") in the list, grid, compare table and popups.
- V1 and V2 diamond detail pages: hide the "Diamond Grading Report" link when no real certificate exists (report/lab value of "0", "None", or "Uncertified"), instead of showing a broken/empty report link.
- V1 and V2: hide the certificate icon and "This cut... comes accompanied by a diamond grading report from ..." description when the certificate value is "0", "None", or "Uncertified".
- V2 diamond details: fixed a leftover "Diamond Grading Report: View" link that stayed visible even when the diamond had no real certificate.
- Updated diamond transactional email design: shared layout shell, logo header, accent styling, detail rows, View This Item CTA, and footer.
- Refined Drop-a-Hint, Request Info, Email-a-Friend, and Schedule Viewing email templates for clearer section order, titles, and copy.

- "Require Login to View Prices" now recognises WooCommerce shoppers: prices stay visible to signed-in customer, shop_manager and administrator users (filter
gemfinddl_price_visible_rolesto change the list). On sites without WooCommerce, any logged-in user sees prices. - The switch is read from the shop's saved configuration on every request, so a cached payload can no longer outvote the current setting.
- Prices no longer leak through full-page caches while the gate is on: the tool page declares itself uncacheable (
DONOTCACHEPAGEplus no-cache headers, honoured by WP Rocket, W3TC, WP Super Cache, LiteSpeed and Batcache) and the per-visitor init REST responses are marked private. - The "Login" link now resolves to a customer-facing account page — WooCommerce's My Account when assigned, otherwise a My Account / Account / Login page — before falling back to wp-login.php.
- Add to Cart is hidden on v1 diamond details when the visitor is not allowed to see the price.
- "Please Login To View Price" no longer overflows diamond cards and detail pages, and inherits the surrounding price colour so it stays legible on any theme.
