  1. Upload the gentech-promo-engine folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
  2. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress
  3. Navigate to GenTech Discount Rules → Promotion Rules to create your first promotion
  4. Configure your promotions using the intuitive interface

  • The rule editor: conditions on top, rewards below (here a Cart Subtotal condition with a Give Product reward).
  • A BOGO rule: buy 2 hoodies, get a cap free.
  • A cart discount rule: spend 100, get 10% off the cart.
  • Cart page: the free gift is added automatically at $0.00 and a "spend more" message nudges the customer toward the next reward.
  • Cart page: the 10% cart discount appears as its own line in the cart totals once the order qualifies.

Do I need to create a WooCommerce coupon for coupon-code offers?

No. When a rule uses the "Coupon Code Applied" condition, the plugin registers that code for you. If a real WooCommerce coupon with the same code exists, the real coupon is used instead.

How do bulk pricing tiers work?

Add one "Bulk Discount" reward row per tier for the same product or category, for example 5+ = 10% and 10+ = 15%. Quantities are counted across all matching items in the cart, and the highest tier reached applies to each of them.

Can I use this with other coupon plugins?
