GiveBlocks lets organizations create donation campaigns and ticketed events directly in WordPress.

https://api.giveblocks.net) is used to claim and authenticate a WordPress site, create Stripe Connect onboarding links, connect an existing Stripe account, create payment intents and subscriptions, process refunds, and retrieve connected-account status. It receives the site URL and contact email during site claiming/onboarding; the connected Stripe account ID; and the transaction amount, currency, campaign ID, payment intent or subscription ID, and refund reason when applicable. The API applies a 1% GiveBlocks platform fee to successful donation and ticket transactions. Recurring donations also send the donor name and email so Stripe can create the customer and subscription. https://api.qrserver.com) is used to generate ticket QR-code images for donor-facing ticket displays and receipts. When a QR image is requested, the ticket code is sent to the service in the image URL along with the requested image dimensions. The service is only contacted when a ticket QR image is displayed. - Upload the plugin files to the
/wp-content/plugins/directory, or install the plugin through the WordPress Plugins screen. - Activate GiveBlocks Donation & Events Platform through the Plugins screen in WordPress.
- Open GiveBlocks > Organization Profile and enter the organization's details.
- Open GiveBlocks > Settings, claim the site, choose live payments or Stripe test mode, and connect the organization's Stripe account.
- Create a campaign under GiveBlocks > Campaigns.
- Add a GiveBlocks block to a page, or use the campaign's direct link.

Do I need a Stripe account?
Yes. Each organization connects its own Stripe account through Stripe Connect. The organization can create a new account or connect an eligible existing Stripe account.
Can I test payments before accepting live payments?
Yes. Enable Stripe test mode in GiveBlocks settings, connect a Stripe test account, and use Stripe test cards. Test transactions do not move real money.
Who receives the payment fees, refunds, and disputes?
The connected organization's Stripe account is responsible for Stripe processing fees, refunds, disputes, and chargebacks. GiveBlocks applies a 1% platform fee through the connected-account payment flow.
Can donors cover transaction fees?
Yes. Campaign editors can enable or disable the optional fee-coverage choice for each donation form or ticket event.
Does the plugin store card numbers?
No. Card entry is handled by Stripe's payment interface. The plugin stores transaction records and Stripe identifiers needed for reporting, receipts, refunds, and ticket fulfillment.
How do I check in ticket holders?
Open the Volunteer Check-In link from the GiveBlocks menu on a phone or tablet. Select an event, then scan the attendee's ticket QR code or search manually.
