- Upload the plugin files to
/wp-content/plugins/goalprevail-floating-button, or install it via Plugins → Add New. - Activate the plugin.
- Pick a position (left, center, right) on the welcome screen.
- Add your phone number, WhatsApp number, email, or link in that position's Content section under GoalPrevail → Floating Button.
- Style it to match your brand and save.

Why is the button not showing?
A button only appears once it has something to do: add a phone number, email, or link in its Content section. Also check that its "Show the … button" toggle is on and the current page is not in your excluded IDs.
Does it work on mobile?
Yes — it is designed mobile-first. You can show it on mobile only, stretch it to a full-width bar on phones, or switch to icon-only on small screens.
Does it slow my site down?
No. When active it adds one small script (about 1 KB gzipped) and a few lines of inline CSS. When disabled, nothing loads at all.
What data does click tracking store?
Only anonymous totals: one counter per day plus an all-time sum. No IP addresses, cookies, or personal information are stored, and nothing is sent to any external service. You can disable tracking or reset the numbers at any time.
Can I use my own icon or font?
You can pick from 19 built-in icons, and type any font family your theme already loads. Custom icon upload is planned for the Pro version.
Can I run more than one button?
Yes — up to three at once (bottom left, center and right), each with its own action, content and optional independent styling. Every button supports per-page exclusions by ID; finer page targeting is planned for the Pro version.
Does removing the plugin leave data behind?
By default your settings are kept in case you reinstall. Enable "Delete all plugin data on uninstall" under Advanced to remove everything.
