Golf Handicap & Slope is a WordPress plugin that allows golf clubs to offer a useful course handicap calculator and complete handicap tables on their websites.
The plugin uses the official formula from the World Handicap System (WHS) to calculate course handicap:
Course Handicap = (Handicap Index × Slope Rating ÷ 113) + (Course Rating – Par)

- i18n: the result help texts now use English source strings (were Norwegian), with proper Norwegian translations added. No functional change.
- Fixed: Calculator showed the wrong sign for plus handicaps on harder tees (the playing handicap was incorrectly negated). Calculator and tables now always agree.
- Fixed: A "+" entered for a plus handicap was stripped by the number field and treated as a regular handicap. Plus and minus are now treated the same (both mean a plus handicap).
- Changed: Course handicap is now shown with its natural sign — a positive value means you receive strokes, a negative value means you must give strokes (play under par).
- New: Plain-language helper text under the result explaining what the number means, plus a color hint (green when you receive strokes, amber when you must give strokes).
- Improved: PHP table and JavaScript calculator now use identical rounding (half up), so they never disagree.
- Fixed: Admin color preview now updates correctly when changing colors (wpColorPicker change event used ui.color directly instead of unreliable .val() read)
