GravityOps Forum - Lite

GravityOps Forum turns Gravity Forms forms and entries into a working forum with categories, forums, topics, and replies, while keeping entries as the canonical data source. Paid features include:

• Template Hijacking: Override default plugin templates within your own WordPress theme.
• Nested Forums: Create sub-categories and multi-level forum hierarchies.
• Additional Fields: Map additional Gravity Forms fields to display in topic and reply content.
• Gravity Forms Feeds: Use native feeds to automate topic/reply creation with full conditional logic support.
• Follow Content & Email Alerts: Enable users to follow topics, forums, and other users with automatic email notifications for new activity.
• Advanced Role Mapping: Map WordPress roles to specific forum access sets.
• Forum Boards: Group forums into logical boards.

1.1.4 | Oct 28, 2026

• Forums can require a higher access set to start topics than to view or reply. Leave Start Topics as Same as Forum Access to keep the previous behavior. Administrators can still start topics.
• Rich-text posts no longer get an extra line break after every block. Plain text still gets paragraph formatting, and editing a post keeps allowed HTML.
• When custom rewrite rules are on, links inside shortcodes use the same pretty URL as the rest of the forum. Old query-string forum and topic links redirect to that URL.
• Pretty forum pages now have their own titles, descriptions, and canonical URLs. Yoast SEO and Rank Math receive the same metadata, and public forums and topics are included in their sitemaps. Draft, private, hidden, and anonymous-blocked forums stay out and are not indexed.
• Appearance menus can add Forum index, Profile, and Logout links. Logout returns to the forum hub and shows a confirmation.
• Updated how the Freemius SDK is packaged. The SDK version is unchanged.

1.1.3 | Oct 25, 2026

• Improved additional-field display across older and newer Gravity Forms versions.
• Updated the GravityOps shared library with clearer premium update requirements, more consistent dashboard navigation and review prompts, corrected Code Snippet Manager links, and more reliable admin table display.

1.1.2 | Oct 11, 2026

• Fixed the forum not registering with the GravityOps dashboard in distributed builds.
• Forum form buttons now keep their branded styling on Gravity Forms 3.0.
• Updated Freemius SDK to the latest version.
• Tested with WordPress 7.1.
• Updated the GravityOps shared library to 2.0.11, bringing a consistent Feeds screen across the suite, more reliable feed activation toggles and feed links, the Docs tab placed before Help, dashboard links that open in a new tab, and updated third-party components.

1.1.1 | Aug 3, 2026

• GravityOps now asks for one short suite-wide survey instead of one survey per plugin, using a compact invitation and a dedicated dashboard form.
• Closing a survey or review prompt now saves "not interested" immediately without reloading the page.
• Fixed release packaging so distributed builds include the correct plugin files and dependencies.

1.1.0 | Aug 2, 2026

• Added compatibility with Gravity Forms 2.9.31 and newer so mapped field values continue to display correctly in topics and replies.
• Added a Docs tab so the full plugin documentation is available right inside your WordPress dashboard.
• The plugin's Gravity Forms settings tab now opens the GravityOps Forum dashboard, and the forum icon now shows on the settings tab and on the Gravity Flow forum step.
• Refreshed the Help tab with documentation, community, and support links.
• The Account, Pricing, and Affiliation tabs now only appear when they apply to your license.
• Improved the GravityOps dashboard with per-plugin icons, correct changelog links, update checks that no longer hold up the page, and a fix for opening a plugin right after activating it.
• Individual plugin pages are no longer listed in the WordPress admin sidebar; open them from the GravityOps dashboard instead.
• Updated the core GravityOps library for more reliable support access, interface fixes that are no longer served from a stale cache, and other small fixes.
