- Upload the
greenroomfolder to/wp-content/plugins/, or install via Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin. - Activate the plugin through the Plugins menu in WordPress.
- Navigate to GreenRoom → Settings to configure formatting options and bio limits.
- Create your first show under GreenRoom → Shows.
常见问题:
How do submitters access their bio form?
Each person added to a show receives a unique URL containing an authentication token. Share these via the invitation email feature or manually from the People list.
How do producers manage their show?
When a show is created, a unique production link is generated. Share this with the producer or production team — they can manage cast and staff, send invitations and reminders, and export bios without needing a WordPress login.
What CSV format is expected?
Four columns: name, email, role, designation. Designation must be cast, staff, or both. Multiple rows with the same email will add multiple roles to that person.
Can someone be in both cast and staff?
Yes. Set their designation to both and they will appear in both the Cast and Staff sections on the dashboard and in exports. They submit a single bio and receive one invitation.
What if my theatre doesn't separate cast and staff?
Uncheck "Cast / Staff Sections" under GreenRoom → Settings. The dashboard and exports will show a single unsectioned list of people.
What export formats are available?
HTML, Microsoft Word (DOCX), RTF, Markdown, Adobe InDesign Tagged Text, CSV, and headshot ZIP. Bio-content formats export only submitted bios. CSV includes full roster data including status. InDesign Tagged Text includes paragraph and character style definitions for professional playbill layout.
What happens after the deadline?
Submitters can no longer edit their bios. Data is retained in the database and remains accessible to admins and producers.
Is any data sent to a third-party service?
No. GreenRoom does not make external requests.
