This plugin integrates the .NET version of the GroupDocs HTML5 document annotation tool into WordPress CMS. It allows your users to view, annotate, collaborate on and share over 50 types of documents and images right on your website. Different from the cloud-based plugin released earlier, this one integrates the downloadable .NET library. The library can be deployed on-premises, meaning you can store and host documents locally. Please note: In order to use this plugin, you will need to buy a GroupDocs.Annotation for .NET Library license. We offer a free evaluation version so that you can test it before committing. For more details on the library, please see the product page.

1. Before using this plugin you must install the GroupDocs.Annotation for .NET library on your server.
2. Download and unzip the plugin.
3. Upload the entire “groupdocs-annotation-for-dot-net-html5-document-annotation” folder to the “/wp-content/plugins/” directory.
4. Activate the plugin through the “Plugins” menu in WordPress.
5. In the popup window to a new GroupDocs.Annotation post, add the server URL where you’ve installed the GroupDocs.Annotation for .NET library
6. Now you can add the GroupDocs.Annotation for .NET shortcode to your WordPress pages and posts.
