How it works:

1. Upload the Plugin
2. Activate the Plugin

Use WordPress' Add New Plugin feature, searching "Onpage SEO Tweaks | inventivo", or download the archive and:

1. Unzip the archive on your computer
2. Upload inventivo-hreflang-xdefault-tag directory to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
3. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress

The WPML settings are now read only after WPML has been detected, which removes a PHP 8 warning that occurred on every page load when WPML was not installed. The x-default URL is escaped. Dismissing the admin notice now requires a valid nonce, which closes a request forgery gap without locking out editors and authors. Please note: the x-default output itself was not tested against a live WPML installation.
