常见问题:

Does the plugin require an external API or account?

No. The canvas editor runs in the browser and saves through WordPress Ajax. No external image-generation account is required.

Where can I open the editor?

You can open it from a featured-image panel, a selected Image block, or the detailed edit screen for a Media Library image.

Can I reopen a saved image with all layers intact?

No. The plugin saves a flattened image. Text, shapes, layers, crop settings, and history are not stored as an editable project.

Which image formats can be saved?

The configured output can use PNG, JPEG, or the source format where supported. Direct replacement supports JPEG, PNG, and WebP when the edited output uses the same supported format.

What is the difference between saving a new image and replacing the original?

Saving a new image creates a new Media Library attachment and leaves the original attachment unchanged. Direct replacement keeps the same attachment ID and changes every place where that attachment is used.

What happens when I save an edited Image block as a new image?

The original attachment remains in the Media Library. The selected block is changed to the new attachment in the current editor session. Update the post before closing it to retain that block change.

Can I replace the original Media Library image?

Yes. Choose “Replace the original image” in a supported editing mode. The attachment ID is retained, WordPress image sizes are regenerated, and the previous image cannot be restored by this plugin.

Why is direct replacement unavailable for some images?

Direct replacement is disabled for unsupported formats and for source images wider or taller than 4000 pixels. Saving as a new image remains available.

Why does an old image sometimes remain after replacement?

A browser, WordPress cache plugin, web server, reverse proxy, or CDN may still hold the previous image. Clear the relevant caches and reload the page.

Does WordPress generate thumbnails after saving?

Yes. The plugin regenerates attachment metadata so WordPress can create registered thumbnail, medium, large, and theme-defined image sizes.

Can I paste an image from the clipboard?

Yes. Use the Add image menu or Ctrl/Command + V while the editor is open, subject to browser clipboard support.

Does preview zoom change the saved image size?

No. Preview zoom changes only the on-screen display. The saved dimensions are controlled by the canvas-size settings.

Can I edit on a smartphone?

The launch controls are hidden on smartphones, including iPhone and Android phones. Tablets and desktop computers remain supported.

Is the plugin multilingual?

Yes. The source interface is English and Japanese translation files are bundled.
