- Upload the plugin folder to
/wp-content/plugins/or install the ZIP via Plugins → Add New → Upload. - Activate HyShare Social Share Buttons through the Plugins menu.
- Go to HyShare in the admin menu to configure networks and display options.
常见问题:
Are these official Facebook / X share counts?
No. Counts track share button clicks on your site only. They are not pulled from social network APIs.
What is the starting count?
An optional number you can set globally or per post. It is added to click counts when showing the total. It is not a claim of external network shares.
Can I set a different starting count per post?
Yes. Edit a post and use the HyShare Share Counts box in the sidebar.
Does it work on mobile?
Yes. You can control mobile visibility and whether labels show as icons only on small screens.
What is the "Share" button?
It opens the phone's built-in share menu, so visitors can send your page to any app installed on their phone. It uses the browser's Web Share feature, so it only shows on mobile browsers that support it and only on HTTPS sites. Elsewhere it stays hidden.
What is the mobile bottom bar?
A slim share bar fixed to the bottom of the screen on phones and small tablets. Turn it on under Settings > Mobile Bottom Bar. It uses the first networks from your Inline Networks list and can add the Share button.
How do I place buttons in a custom location?
Use the shortcode [hyshare_share_buttons] in content, widgets (if shortcodes are enabled), or a block that supports shortcodes.

- Fixed share throttling on sites behind Cloudflare or another reverse proxy: all visitors shared the proxy's IP, so after one click no other visitor was counted until the throttle expired
- New setting "Visitor IP Source" (Automatic, Cloudflare, Reverse proxy / CDN, Server connection only). Proxy headers are only read when you opt in, or when the server sits behind a private-network proxy, so visitors cannot forge them
- Added the
hyshare_visitor_ipfilter to override the detected visitor IP - The throttle key now also includes the browser user-agent, so visitors on one shared IP (office or mobile carrier NAT) are not treated as a single person
- New "Share" button that opens the phone's own share sheet (Web Share API), so visitors can share to any installed app, including Instagram, Messenger and Signal. It appears only on touch devices whose browser supports it (HTTPS required) and is hidden everywhere else. Enable it in Inline Networks; on fresh installs it is on by default
- Native shares are counted only when the visitor completes the share, not when the share sheet is cancelled
- New optional sticky bottom share bar for phones and small tablets (768px and below): Settings > Mobile Bottom Bar, with a 3-6 button limit and a pinned Share button. The side floating bar is hidden on mobile while the bottom bar is on
- New filters: hyshare_native_share_mobile_only, hyshare_show_bottom_bar, hyshare_bottom_bar_buttons
- Fixed CSV export: report data is no longer HTML-escaped, which previously corrupted quotes and ampersands and produced a malformed file
