- Upload the release ZIP in Plugins > Add Plugin, or copy the
intelligent-admin-enginedirectory to/wp-content/plugins/. The main plugin path isintelligent-admin-engine/intelligent-admin-engine.php. - Activate Intelligent Admin Engine.
- Open Intelligent Admin Engine > Appearance.
常见问题:
Does this affect the public website?
No. Assets are limited to wp-admin and the WordPress login screen.
Who can change the plugin settings?
Appearance and Menu Builder settings require the manage_options capability. By default, that is an administrator capability. Menu presentation never grants or removes WordPress permissions.
What does the administrator bypass in Menu Builder mean?
Visual menu rules are applied to non-administrator users. Administrators keep the full WordPress menu as a recovery path. This affects presentation only; WordPress remains responsible for authorization.
Does the plugin use an external service?
No. Intelligent Admin Engine does not contact an external service, load a remote font CDN, or send plugin settings, WordPress content, or telemetry to the plugin author.
What happens to settings when the plugin is removed?
Workspace options and user preferences are intentionally retained to support reinstalling or moving from Free to a compatible Pro add-on. Nonessential cached state is removed.
Can I upgrade without losing my settings?
Yes. The Free core preserves supported settings and also avoids deleting unknown add-on fields when Free settings are saved. Follow the Pro add-on installation instructions when it becomes available.
