详情介绍:

A WooCommerce CSV import can change hundreds of products at once. An incorrect value or column mapping can unexpectedly clear prices, alter stock, duplicate a SKU, or update the wrong product. ImportShield adds an import preview before the built-in WooCommerce product CSV importer runs. It shows the catalog changes WooCommerce is expected to make and highlights potentially risky changes before anything is imported. Review which products are expected to be created, updated, or skipped, see identifier conflicts, and compare current and planned values. You can fix the CSV or mapping, go back without importing, or continue with the standard WooCommerce import. Use ImportShield for supplier files, bulk price or stock updates, and other product imports where an unexpected change could affect many products. What ImportShield helps you catch How it works
  1. Upload the product CSV and map its columns in Products → Import.
  2. Review planned changes and grouped risks before the import starts.
  3. Correct the CSV or mapping if needed, or choose to continue.
  4. WooCommerce performs the actual product import.
Supported scope ImportShield works with the built-in WooCommerce product CSV importer. It provides field-level analysis for simple products, variable products, and variations when a supported mapped field applies to that product type. Supported fields cover product identification, prices, stock, content and visibility, categories, tags and brands, images and linked products, tax and shipping data, and product measurements. Mapped fields outside the analysis scope remain available to WooCommerce and are identified as not analyzed where applicable. Parent and Attribute relationships for variable products and variations are not analyzed. Changes between product types, grouped products, external products, and other unsupported product types are left to the standard WooCommerce importer. Important limitations Optional usage analytics are disabled by default. ImportShield works normally without analytics, and telemetry delivery never changes a preflight or import result.

安装:

  1. Make sure WooCommerce 10.8 or newer is installed and active on a supported single-site WordPress installation.
  2. Install and activate ImportShield.
  3. Open Products → Import and upload a product CSV.
  4. Map the columns as usual. ImportShield adds its Review before the WooCommerce import starts.

  • Expand grouped issues and open the affected product rows from the Risk overview.
  • Filter analyzed changes and compare current and planned product values row by row.
  • Make an explicit decision to cancel or continue when import risks are detected.

常见问题:

Does ImportShield modify the CSV file?

No. ImportShield reads the uploaded CSV for the preflight and does not rewrite it.

Does ImportShield import products itself?

No. ImportShield adds a Review before the built-in WooCommerce product CSV importer. WooCommerce performs the actual import. No product or taxonomy records are created or changed during the preflight.

What happens when ImportShield finds a risky change?

The Review shows the detected issues and affected rows. You can go back without importing, or explicitly confirm that you want to continue with the standard WooCommerce import.

How are existing products matched?

ImportShield uses the mapped product ID and/or non-empty SKU. If the ID and SKU do not resolve consistently, the row is reported as a conflict. The WooCommerce Update existing products setting still controls the native import behavior.

Are variable products and variations supported?

ImportShield analyzes supported fields when they apply to variable products and variations. It does not analyze Parent or Attribute relationships, changes between product types, or fields WooCommerce does not persist independently for that product type.

What happens to unsupported fields or product types?

The Review identifies mapped fields that were not analyzed. Unsupported product types are shown as unsupported. WooCommerce remains responsible for those fields and rows if you continue.

Can I undo an import?

No. ImportShield does not provide rollback. Back up the store and review the results before continuing, especially for high-impact imports.

Does ImportShield send analytics by default?

No. Usage analytics require explicit administrator opt-in and can be changed at ImportShield → Settings.
