- Redirect Backend Course Editing to Gutenberg — When enabled, backend course editing links open the WordPress block editor instead of Tutor’s default editing flow.
- Redirect Frontend Dashboard Editing to Gutenberg — When enabled, course editing links in the frontend instructor dashboard open the block editor.
- Remove Button to Frontend Builder in Course Editor — Hides the frontend builder button in the course editor when you want a Gutenberg-first experience.
- Enable Discussion Tab in Lessons — Adds a Discussion tab to the lesson sidebar and presents lesson comments using standard WordPress comment patterns. Helpful when you want to use third-party comment or moderation plugins.
- Add Media Library & H5P Links to Instructor Dashboard — Adds links on the frontend instructor menu to the WordPress Media Library and H5P editor in wp-admin, so frontend instructors can manage media and create H5P content when you allow backend access for those tools.
- Lessons submenu — Adds a Lessons item under Tutor LMS in wp-admin for quicker access to lesson posts.

- Enable the toggles you need—for example, Gutenberg redirects for block-editor-first authoring, the Discussion tab for comment plugins, or dashboard links for frontend instructors who manage media or H5P.

What is the Discussion tab for?
It adds a Discussion tab to the lesson sidebar and surfaces lesson comments in a layout aligned with standard WordPress comment patterns. Sites that use comment plugins or want a familiar discussion experience on lessons often enable this toggle.
What do the Media Library and H5P dashboard links do?
They add links on the frontend instructor dashboard menu to the WordPress Media Library and H5P editor in wp-admin. Use them when frontend instructors need to manage uploads across courses or create H5P content—not only select items that already exist. Leave the toggle off if instructors should not access those backend screens.
Can I leave all toggles off?
Yes. The Lessons submenu and co-instructor Gutenberg support remain active without enabling any toggles.
What is full TutorPress, and where can I get it?
Full TutorPress is the paid plugin from Indigetal WebCraft. It includes everything in this free plugin plus the Gutenberg Course Builder (curriculum metabox, course settings panels, quiz modals, and related admin tools), and premium integrations. Will my settings survive if I upgrade to full TutorPress?
Yes. Both plugins use the tutorpress_settings option.
Does uninstall delete my TutorPress settings?
No. Uninstall removes only plugin-specific housekeeping options.
