Cost of Goods reporting is a separate paid product Cost of Goods reporting is not included in this plugin. It ships in Kogility Bookkeeping Pro, a separately distributed plugin that is not hosted here. This free plugin contains none of that code: it records no per-order unit costs, reports no COGS column, shows no COGS KPI, and its Net Profit figure is revenue less shipping, gateway fees and overheads. The figures come from the same engine as the reports, so the two can never disagree.
• Editable line costs (Pro): a line's unit cost can be corrected directly on the order. Edits are written to that order only and never back to the product, so fixing one order cannot rewrite the cost history of every other order.
• Refund reminder: orders with any refund now carry a notice explaining that cost of goods is still counted in full, since a refund does not always mean the stock came back.
• Estimated-cost flag: lines with no cost recorded against the order fall back to the product's current cost and are labelled as estimates, so they are not mistaken for figures locked in at the time of sale.
• WooCommerce Cost of Goods Sold compatibility: WooCommerce ships its own COGS feature under Settings → Advanced → Features, storing cost in a different field. Enabling it alongside this plugin previously produced a second, empty cost figure. Kogility now supplies core's calculations from its own cost data, so the two always report the same number on an order.
• Cost Source setting: a new option under Settings → General decides which field wins when both hold a value — Kogility's Cost field or WooCommerce's Cost of Goods Sold. It stays disabled, with an explanation and a link, until WooCommerce's feature is switched on, because until then there is nothing to choose between. Existing sites keep using Kogility's field, so stores feeding costs in from an external script or feed are unaffected.
• Fixed the quantity column in the report preview totals showing as a currency value.

• Fixed a fatal error when one build of the plugin was loaded while the other was already in memory — which happens during plugin activation and when Freemius switches a site between the free and Pro versions. The second copy inherited the first copy's paths and tried to load files from the wrong folder. A duplicate-load guard now keeps exactly one copy in charge.

• Fixed Net Profit on the KPI dashboard double-deducting estimated gateway fees. Per-order profit already netted the fee out, and the dashboard total subtracted it a second time.
• Fixed the gateway fee base being inflated on refunded orders. get_total() is not reduced by refunds in WooCommerce, so adding the refunded amount on top double-counted the original charge. The intentional 2x fee on refunds (both the payment and the refund are billable transactions) is unchanged.
• Fixed the CSV totals row using a different profit formula than the rows above it, so the column now foots to its own total.
• Fixed the report preview's live recalculation drifting from the server figures. It now mirrors the server formula exactly and recalculates per order rather than per line.
• Fixed report date ranges being built in UTC while WooCommerce interpreted them as site-local time, which pushed orders near midnight into the wrong period.
• Cost of Goods is now recorded onto each order line at the point of sale, so changing a product's cost no longer rewrites historical reports.
