Land Tech Accessibility Scanner finds accessibility problems in the HTML your WordPress site already sends. A finding is a failure, a best-practice note, or a manual check. You decide what to change. This release includes: The free plugin writes a statement draft only when you create that page. It does not rewrite the rest of the site. It does not claim that a site is ADA or WCAG compliant. Browser checks include axe-core 4.13.0 under the Mozilla Public License 2.0. axe-core runs only inside wp-admin, in the scan iframe. It is not loaded on public pages. Land Tech Accessibility Scanner does not send page content to an external service. The project site is https://includepress.com, a product of Land Tech Web Designs, Corp.

安装:

  1. Upload the land-tech-accessibility-scanner folder to /wp-content/plugins/, or install the zip from the Plugins screen.
  2. Activate Land Tech Accessibility Scanner from the Plugins screen.
  3. Open Accessibility Scanner in the admin menu and start a scan.

  • Open issues grouped by check. Choose a check to see its items.
  • The issues list for one check. Ignore asks for a reason, and the CSV is the open list.
  • The alt text report. Images that need a better name, including the pages that use them.
  • The heading checker. Skipped levels, multiple H1s, and text that looks like a heading.
  • A draft accessibility statement you review and publish.
  • The contrast checker. Each row shows the ratio next to the colors.
  • The issues list with IncludePress Pro. Pro can suggest a fix for many checks.
  • The contrast checker with IncludePress Pro. Suggested colors stay off until you accept them.

常见问题:

Is this an overlay?

No. Land Tech Accessibility Scanner does not inject a toolbar, a widget, or a script into the visitor’s browser. It reads the HTML your site already sends.

Will this make my site compliant?

Automated tools can't guarantee that a site meets WCAG, the ADA, or the European Accessibility Act. Land Tech Accessibility Scanner lists failures, best-practice notes, and manual checks. You decide what to change. It is not a certificate.

Does it slow my site?

It adds nothing to the front end. Scans and browser checks run in wp-admin. Public pages do not load a Land Tech Accessibility Scanner script or stylesheet.
