Automatic Installation
- Log in to your WordPress admin panel
- Navigate to Plugins > Add New
- Search for "Magid Collaborator"
- Click "Install Now" and then "Activate"
Manual Installation
- Download the plugin ZIP file
- Log in to your WordPress admin panel
- Navigate to Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin
- Choose the downloaded ZIP file and click "Install Now"
- Activate the plugin
Configuration
- Activate the Plugin:
- After installation, the plugin is ready to use
- No manual API key creation needed
- Connect to Collaborator:
- In WordPress admin, go to Collaborator > Settings
- Enter your Collaborator API token in the setup wizard
- The plugin connects your site to Collaborator automatically
- Configure Preferences (optional):
- Set your preferred post type (Post, Page, or Custom Post Types)
- Set default post status (Draft, Pending, Publish, or Private)
- Click "Save Changes"
- Start Using:
- Go to Collaborator in the WordPress admin menu
- Sign in to your Collaborator account through the embedded interface
- Create content and publish to WordPress with one click
That's it! All team members with Editor or Author roles can now create content through Collaborator and publish directly to WordPress.
