Yes. You need a Kickbox account and an API key. Kickbox offers free credits to get started; paid plans are available for higher volume.
Addresses are verified when a subscriber is added or updated through Mailster (forms, admin, and other signup flows that use Mailster’s subscriber verification). Bulk import verification is optional and off by default because it can slow large imports — for big lists, use Kickbox list verification first.
You can accept addresses by Kickbox result (deliverable, risky, unknown, undeliverable), reject specific reason codes (for example invalid domain or rejected email), and control role, free, disposable, and accept-all (catch-all) addresses. You can also require a minimum Sendex score.
Verifying subscribers with Kickbox helps keep undeliverable and low-quality addresses out of Mailster, which typically lowers bounce rates and supports better email deliverability over time. Results still depend on your sending practices, content, and ESP.
Yes. To verify an address, this plugin sends the subscriber’s email to the Kickbox API (api.kickbox.com). Kickbox processes the request and returns a verification result. You need a Kickbox account; see Kickbox’s documentation for how their service handles data.
