Maras Tech Accessibility Auditor runs automated accessibility checks from your own WordPress admin. It uses a locally bundled axe-core engine and does not claim or certify WCAG conformance. Automated results are always shown separately from checks that require human review.

maras-tech-accessibility-auditorfolder to/wp-content/plugins/or install the plugin through WordPress. - Activate it through the Plugins screen.
- Open Accessibility in the WordPress admin menu and enter a page URL from your own site.
- Use Site scan when you want to check selected public content types one page at a time.

Does this plugin make my site WCAG compliant?
No. It helps identify automatically testable issues and presents a manual-review list. WCAG conformance requires human evaluation as well.
Does the plugin send page data to a third party?
No. The checking engine is bundled with the plugin. Checks run in the administrator's browser against URLs on the same WordPress site, and reports are stored in that WordPress installation.
What happens when I uninstall the plugin?
Deactivation keeps saved reports. Permanently deleting the plugin removes its report table and database-version option. It never removes posts, pages, media, settings, or other WordPress data.
Why are some items marked “Needs manual review”?
Some accessibility questions need human judgement. For example, an image with an empty alt attribute may be decorative or may need meaningful alternative text.
