常见问题:

Do I need a MasjidHub account?

Yes. The plugin displays data belonging to a mosque registered with MasjidHub and requires a connection token created in that account.

Does the plugin track visitors?

No. The plugin does not add analytics or tracking cookies. When uncached mosque data is needed, the WordPress server contacts the configured MasjidHub API. The external-service section above lists the information sent with that request.

Where is the connection token stored?

The token is stored in the WordPress options table and is available only to users who can manage site options. It is sent to the configured MasjidHub API over HTTPS as a bearer token.

Can I remove the MasjidHub credit?

Yes. Public-facing MasjidHub attribution and its website link are disabled by default. They are rendered only when an administrator explicitly opts in with the show_powered_by="yes" shortcode option. The Shortcode Builder also defaults this option to “No”.

How long is prayer data cached?

The default is ten minutes. An administrator can choose a duration from one minute to 24 hours on the connection screen or clear the cache manually.

Which shortcodes are available?

The principal shortcodes are:

  • [masjidhub_prayer_board]
  • [masjidhub_daily]
  • [masjidhub_next_prayer]
  • [masjidhub_monthly]
  • [masjidhub_jumuah]
  • [masjidhub_ramadan]
  • [masjidhub_taraweeh]
  • [masjidhub_eid]
Use MasjidHub > Shortcode Builder to create a configured shortcode without editing its attributes manually.
