Mawu Art – View in Your Space is a lightweight WooCommerce plugin that allows customers to preview artworks directly on their wall using their own photos.
In just a few seconds, buyers can visualize how a piece will look in their space — helping them better understand scale, placement, and overall fit before purchasing.
No app required. No setup friction.
For a more immersive experience, users can continue in the MawuARtview mobile app (if installed).
Features include:
- Uses the WooCommerce product's featured image.
- Customers can upload a wall photo or take one using their device.
- Drag to reposition the artwork.
- Pinch to resize (touch devices).
- Frame options: none, black, white, gold.
- Download the final preview as an image.
- Optional continuation in the MawuARtview mobile app for a deeper experience.
- Works with any theme using the standard WooCommerce product page.
安装:
- Upload the
mawu-artfolder to/wp-content/plugins/, or install the ZIP through Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin. - Activate the plugin from the Plugins menu in WordPress.
- Go to Settings → Mawu Art View in Your Space and make sure the feature is enabled.
- Ensure each WooCommerce product has a featured image.
- Visit a single product page — the View in your space button will appear automatically.

Which image does this plugin use?
It always uses the featured image of the WooCommerce product.
Does this work with any theme?
Yes, as long as the theme uses the standard WooCommerce single product template.
Does this use AR?
This plugin provides a fast, accurate 2D in-space preview. For an immersive augmented experience, users can continue in the MawuARtview mobile app.
Why doesn’t “Take a photo” open my camera on desktop?
On desktop and laptop browsers, the “Take a photo” option opens a file picker instead of the camera. This is expected browser behavior for privacy and security reasons. On supported mobile devices, the same option opens the camera directly.
