MentionForge — AI Search Visibility helps WordPress site owners monitor how their organization appears in AI-powered search and recommendation results. Instead of stopping at a score, the plugin can scan the organization's public website and turn weak AI-search results into page-specific recommendations, including the exact page to improve, the issue to address, the recommended change, and suggested copy. Current features include: MentionForge — AI Search Visibility is currently designed for one organization per WordPress installation. AI provider requirements Version 1.0 uses OpenAI as its supported AI provider for evaluations and recommendation generation. These features require your own OpenAI API key. OpenAI API usage is billed separately by OpenAI according to your OpenAI account and usage. Support for additional AI providers is planned for future releases. Website Analysis itself scans the public website configured in the plugin and does not require an AI provider request.

安装:

  1. Upload the mentionforge-ai-search-visibility folder to /wp-content/plugins/, or install the ZIP through Plugins > Add Plugin > Upload Plugin.
  2. Activate MentionForge — AI Search Visibility.
  3. Open MentionForge — AI Search Visibility > Organization and configure the organization and website.
  4. Add relevant competitors.
  5. Build the Prompt Library.
  6. Open Settings and enter an OpenAI API key.
  7. Run an Evaluation.
  8. Run Website Analysis.
  9. Open Recommendations and build the action plan.

Which AI providers are supported?

Version 1.0 supports OpenAI for AI search evaluations and recommendations. The site administrator supplies their own OpenAI API key, and OpenAI bills API usage separately. Support for additional AI providers is planned for future releases.

Does the plugin run AI requests automatically?

No. AI requests are initiated by an administrator from the plugin interface.

What website content is scanned?

Website Analysis discovers public URLs from the organization's sitemap and stores a text snapshot of a limited number of public pages in the WordPress database.

Does Website Analysis scan other domains?

No. Discovered and requested pages are restricted to the configured organization's hostname, and WordPress safe HTTP request handling is used.

What is sent to OpenAI?

Evaluation prompts are sent when an administrator runs an evaluation. Recommendation generation can additionally send selected content from scanned public website pages together with the relevant evaluation result and configured organization information. See the External Services section for details.

Are recommendations automatically applied to my website?

No. Recommendations are displayed for review. The plugin does not automatically change public website content.

Can I track more than one organization?

The current release is designed around one primary organization per WordPress installation.
