MirrAR Virtual Try On is a WooCommerce plugin that adds a Try On button to product pages. When a shopper presses it, the product appears on them live through their camera. It supports necklaces, earrings, rings, bracelets, bangles, wrist watches, eyewear, coloured eye lenses and cosmetics.
Install and activate MirrAR Virtual Try On, approve your shop once in the WooCommerce VTO Connector in your MirrAR account, then publish try-ons for the products you choose. The Try On button appears on those products automatically. No code is needed.
Yes. Shoppers can try on necklaces, earrings, rings, bracelets and bangles, and wear several pieces together as a full look. Watches, eyewear, eye lenses and cosmetics are supported too.
Yes. Eyewear is supported, so optical and sunglasses stores can offer a live try-on from the product page.
Yes. Lipstick, eyeshadow and eyeliner shades can be tried on the shopper's face through the camera, along with coloured eye lenses.
No. The try-on opens in an overlay on your product page and uses the shopper's camera live. It runs in the browser on desktop and mobile, with no app to download.
The shopper presses the Try On button on a product page and allows camera access. The product then appears on them live and moves as they move. They can wear several pieces together, compare two pieces side by side, and capture a photo to download or share.
No. The plugin connects itself after you approve your shop, matches products by SKU and adds the Try On buttons. Button colours and text are set from a settings screen with a live preview.
The plugin is free. The try-on runs on a MirrAR plan, priced by the number of products you put on try-on. Every plan includes every feature, unlimited try-ons and a 14-day free trial. See current plans and prices at mirrar.ai/pricing.
One product that you put on try-on. Its metal, size and shade variants count once, so a ring sold in three metals and five sizes is one product. You can switch which products are on try-on at any time.
Yes. Every MirrAR plan starts with a 14-day free trial.
No. Try-ons are unlimited on every plan and there is no charge per try-on. Only the number of products on try-on is limited by your plan.
The try-on script loads only on pages that show a Try On button, and the camera try-on starts only when a shopper presses it.
Your site address, version numbers and the credentials needed to keep the shop connected. The plugin sends no customer data and no order data. MirrAR also reads your products and SKUs through the read-only WooCommerce key you approve. See External services for the full list.
A WooCommerce shop (WooCommerce must be active — WordPress will not activate the plugin without it) and a MirrAR account with the WooCommerce VTO Connector. Your products need SKUs, because that is how MirrAR and your shop match products.
Look at the status line at the top of MirrAR Virtual Try On → General settings:
Usually within seconds: MirrAR tells your shop that something changed. If that message cannot get through — some hosts block it — the plugin also checks every five minutes. On a shop with no visitors it can take longer, because WordPress only runs its scheduled checks when somebody visits.
Check, in order:
Yes. Edit the product, open the MirrAR Virtual Try On tab in Product data, and tick or untick Enable MirrAR Virtual Try On. A change you make there always wins over MirrAR: a product you switch off stays off, and one you switch on stays on.
Yes, one Try On button per product. It is matched by the product's own SKU — or, if the product has no SKU of its own, by its variations' SKUs, the same way MirrAR names such a product when it imports it. Nothing to set up.
MirrAR Virtual Try On → General settings → Custom Button Style. The preview on the right shows the result as you change it.
Press Disconnect in the WooCommerce VTO Connector in MirrAR. Within a few minutes the plugin switches try-on off on your shop. Revoking the "MirrAR Virtual Try-On" key in WooCommerce → Settings → Advanced → REST API does the same.
Yes. Disconnect it from the first account, then approve it from the second. The plugin switches over by itself and removes the first account's key from your shop. While the first account is still connected, the second one cannot connect the shop.
Deactivating keeps all your settings, and MirrAR is told the plugin is inactive; activate it again and it carries on. Deleting the plugin removes everything it stored — its settings and the Try On switches on your products — but keeps the "MirrAR Virtual Try-On" key in WooCommerce, which belongs to your MirrAR connection rather than to the plugin. Reinstall it and it connects itself again. If you are stopping MirrAR for good, also revoke that key in WooCommerce → Settings → Advanced → REST API.
No. The try-on opens in an overlay on the product page and needs no rewrite rules.
SVG files can carry scripts, so the plugin does not enable SVG uploads — WordPress blocks them by default for the same reason. Use PNG, JPG, GIF or WebP.
